Fab: Solstice Moon | the ReFab Diaries

The seasons are turning and I'm about to spend 24 hours traveling. This will be my last post for the year and I wanted to share Molly Costello's beautiful Solstice Moon and her thoughts on connectedness. Molly lives on the north side of Chicago and spends a lot of her creative time working alongside neighborhood youth to develop green initiatives that encompass social justice, prosperity, sustainability and community.

Through my work I focus on ideas of connectedness... connectedness with our whole selves, with each other, our communities, their systems, the natural world and the energy of our universe at large. Everything is interrelated. Understanding and studying these themes of connectedness can help us better understand our place in the larger picture and what part we play in sculpting this world and the communities we live in.

For more of Molly's wonderful work, visit her Etsy store, Facebook page and wonderful Tumblr.

Thanks for visiting, commenting, supporting, enjoying and connecting with me through the blog in 2015. Here are some revolutionary, rebellious wishes for you in the new year:

1. Experiment with uppity, mischievous optimism.
2. Invoke insurrectionary levels of deep generosity.
3. Indulge in an insolent refusal to be chronically fearful.
4. Pursue a cheeky ambition to be wide-awake.
5. Bring reckless levels of creative intelligence to all expressions of love.
