Starch and doilies ... would your kids even know what those are? I know my grandmother loved both of them - starch for collars and doilies for decorating, everything. They adorned side tables, the backs of chairs, her dressing table, her nightstands. She said they were "feminine". Ak. I was never a fan. But I do like the way they've returned. And I've found 13 fresh (and yes, feminine!) decor ideas I love and want to share:
Vintage Doily Mobile by Sparkle Candace ... spotted on Creature Comforts. She stitched vintage doilies and felt together then cut the shapes freehand. I love how organic the final product feels.

A simple, pretty bowl.
A jewelry organizer perhaps? This really appeals to me
Doilies and embroidery rings .... pretty!
Old doilies, lace and a hanger via Cottage Dreams
Love the pops of color in this doily window treatment
This clay bowl isn't new ... but every time I see it, I like it more. So it's getting included in this round up.
A super-simple little pillow adornment. My gran would approve.
No how-to for these lions... but I couldn't resist. I love how curmudgeonly they look.
