Upcycle: Tin-Can Daisies | the ReFab Diaries

My second Earth-Day upcycle ... a favorite summer beer turned into what will be someone's favorite summer jewelry!

This was simple to make and I love the result. I will make more. Perhaps I'm finally inspired to start selling some of the things I make? We'll see. Meanwhile, instructions for you:

1. If you haven't worked with aluminum cans before, complete set up for you here

2. I found the perfect hexagon template here - use it! Really, don't try to wing it with this shape :)

3. Before you apply dimensional magic, make the holes. For the earrings, this is simple. For the pendant, line up the two pieces and then think about how you want them to connect and how you want them to hang

4. You need some basic jewelry supplies to put everything together: chain, findings, earring hooks, a couple of little beads.

5. Enjoy!
