This year (2021), Earth Day is April 22. Here's my Earth Day question to you: how much do you know about the power of upcycled foods to reduce the serious problem of climate-harming food waste?
I just took a quiz over at Earthday.org - seems I already know quite a bit. Or, a bunch! Ha.
This is in large part thanks to the Upcycled Food Association, mentioned on this blog a few times before. And one of their members just created this great infographic to help all of us understand better why upcycling food matters.
Favorite takeaway from this: every time you turn over-ripe bananas into banana bread, you're upcycling!
